This ticket-only panel event looks at the successes and failures in social media at the London 2012 Games. It features two Olympic Gold medallists discussing their use of social media as well as representatives from Team GB, the BBC, Cadburys & British Airways.
Which athletes struck Gold with their use of Twitter? Which news organisations really embraced social media? What were the iconic social media moments? What were the 'peak tweet' moments and how integrated was social media with TV coverage?
The event runs from 3.30pm - 6pm and you are welcome to join us for drinks after the event at the Skyloft bar.
